Challenge
Packaging for the new NeoLife Sport line had been finalized. Collateral needed to echo the aesthetic of the packaging and appeal to both men and women looking to take their workouts to the next level. Branding should feel approachable yet serious, and not too hardcore.
Outcome
After launch, sales exceeded expectations, and products were used by the everyday gym-goer to professional athletes.
Strategy
My research revealed a variety of design aesthetics for sports nutrition products. Although limited to stock photography, I sought images with strong lighting contrast and models displaying serious expressions. In order to distinguish our product from others in the market, I stayed true to our "Based in nature, backed by science" tagline by utilizing images featuring models in natural outdoor settings.
Despite budgetary constraints limiting me to stock photography, I successfully manipulated and edited photos to align seamlessly with the brand aesthetic.
