Kiddom Rebrand
Kiddom is a digital forward, human first ed-tech company that leverages technology to enable teachers and students to unlock their full potential.

Challenge
Kiddom's branding had not been updated in its 10 years in business. The style was inconsistent, failed to reflect the company's story and voice, and was not competitive within the industry.
Character illustrations lacked emotion and expression, and ages were indistinguishable outside of character heights.
Outcome
I developed a meaningful design system that supported Kiddom's whimsical brand voice. Qualified sales leads increased by 200% year over year and engagement improved across in-person events and online.

Strategy
I began by conducting competitor research and completing a comprehensive audit of Kiddom's past and current, digital and printed assets.
The three concepts I presented satisfies leadership's desires for a look and feel that sets Kiddom apart from competitors and clearly displayed human expression.
With a few rounds of iterations, the final direction was a style that features organic lines echoing the fact that learning is not a linear journey. Illustrations break out of brand shapes related to the subject matter Kiddom supports. Singular characters juxtaposed with oversized objects that leverage a controlled and vibrant color palette for a whimsical and bold look. The textured dots is a call back to traditional print textbooks and create additional visual interest.

You’ve made such a mark on how the Kiddom brand looks, feels, and shows up. Your design instincts and collaborative energy have a huge impact, and we’re so grateful for everything you bring to the team.
